AI adoption

AI adoption for small and mid-sized businesses

I'll help you find where AI saves real time in your business, set up the right tools and train your team to use them well. If AI isn't the right fix, I'll tell you that too. No hype.

Is this a fit?

Good fit if

  • Your team spends hours on repetitive writing, summarizing or data entry
  • You've tried ChatGPT or similar tools, but nothing stuck
  • You want to use AI but worry about data privacy or mistakes
  • You'd rather have a practical plan than a big transformation program
  • You want the repetitive work off your plate: following up on unpaid invoices by email, calling to confirm appointments, mocking up quotes or proposals from your notes, or building weekly reports from your spreadsheets

Probably not a fit if

  • You want AI to replace your team overnight
  • You want a chatbot switched on with no thought about how it's used
  • You need a large machine-learning research project

AI assistants that do the work

Most AI stops at answering questions. I set up assistants that know your business and actually do the work, with you approving anything that goes out.

  • Your inbox triaged each morning, with replies drafted for you to approve
  • Social posts and flyers designed in Canva
  • Spreadsheets cleaned up and turned into regular reports
  • Customer questions answered with drafts you review before they're sent
  • Custom tools built, maintained, and kept up to date

AI adoption services

Every project is quoted after a free intro call.

  1. AI Starting Point

Find out where AI will actually save your business time, and where it won't.

    Who it's for

Owners who know AI could help but don't know where to start, or who've heard a lot of pitches and want an honest second opinion.

    What's included

    • A working session with you (and anyone who runs day-to-day operations) to walk through how the work really gets done
    • A look at the tools and data you already have
    • A short written plan: a few ranked opportunities, each marked “worth trying,” “not yet,” or “not worth it,” with the tools I'd use and the reasons
    • A follow-up call to go through the plan together. The plan is yours to keep, whatever you decide about next steps.
  2. AI Tool Setup

Your team gets the right AI tools, set up properly, instead of everyone using whatever they found on their own.

    Who it's for

Small teams already experimenting with AI informally who want it organized, consistent, and safer.

    What's included

    • Help choosing tools: ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, the AI already built into software you pay for, or whatever else fits your team, including knowing when an off-the-shelf option is enough
    • Setting up business accounts, admin settings, and sharing, with the accounts in your name
    • Saved instructions and templates for your most common tasks (emails, quotes, summaries, document drafts)
    • Basic guardrails: what data stays out of AI tools, and where a person checks the output before it goes out
  3. Workflow Automation

Take one repetitive, time-eating task off your team's plate.

    Who it's for

Businesses where staff spend hours copying, pasting, re-typing, or chasing the same things every week.

    What's included

    • Picking one workflow to start with (e.g. intake, follow-ups, data entry between systems, report prep)
    • Building the automation with AI where it helps and plain automation where that's simpler, using your existing tools where possible
    • A human-review step anywhere a mistake would matter
    • Testing on real examples, plus a short written guide on how it works and what to do when it doesn't
  4. Team AI Training

Your team uses AI with confidence and care in their everyday work.

    Who it's for

Owners and managers who want their staff using AI well, without anyone feeling replaced or left behind.

    What's included

    • Hands-on sessions built around your team's real tasks, not generic demos
    • Simple do's and don'ts for your business: privacy, checking output, when not to use AI
    • A one-page cheat sheet and the templates from the sessions
    • A follow-up Q&A after people have had time to try it
  5. Ongoing AI Help

Once a project is done, you have someone to call when a tool changes, something breaks or a new idea comes up.

    Who it's for

Businesses that already finished one of the services above and want light, ongoing support instead of a new project each time.

    What's included

    • A light monthly plan or a block of hours, agreed up front
    • Answers to your team's questions as they come up
    • Workflow tweaks and fixes to what we've already set up
    • Keeping up as tools change, including whether a new AI tool is worth your time

What you get

Things you keep, whether or not we keep working together.

  • A written plan. Where AI helps in your business, in priority order, in plain English.
  • Configured tools. Set up for your team, in accounts you own.
  • Training materials. Short guides and examples your team can return to.
  1. Free intro call

We talk about your business and where time goes.

  2. Review and quote

I look at your workflows and send a written plan and quote.

  3. Set up and train

I configure the tools, train your team, and hand it all over.

Responsible AI, in plain terms

  • Your data stays protected

We pick tools and settings that fit your privacy needs and decide up front what should never go into an AI tool.

  • People stay in the loop

AI drafts, sorts and summarizes. A person reviews anything that matters before it goes out.

  • No silver bullets

AI is good at some things and bad at others. I'll be clear about which is which for your business.

Common questions

How much does AI adoption cost?

Every project is quoted after a free intro call. The quote is either a fixed scope or a set block of time, and we agree on it before any work starts.

How long does it take?

It depends on scope. A focused rollout for one team is a much smaller job than changing how a whole company works. You'll get a realistic timeline along with your quote.

Will AI replace my staff?

That's not the goal. The point is to take the tedious parts off your team's plate so they have more time for work that needs a person. If something should stay manual, I'll tell you.

Is my business data safe?

Data privacy is part of every rollout. I help you choose tools and settings that fit your needs, like business plans that don't train on your data (where they're available). I also help you set clear rules for what should never go into an AI tool.
